This course will help participants become well rounded in the fundamentals of digital photography. Basically, participants will learn about how camera works, how light works, how composition works, and how to use photo editing software. Participants will, generally, receive basic instruction, demonstration, and see samples of the desired outcomes, at the beginning of each period. More importantly, participants will be introduced to photographers and art groups which have significant influence in modern art and society, as a process of seeking for their inspiration of photography.
Participants will have the opportunity to go outside and shoot assignments, based on what they are learning. Daily critique is also a crucial part of the class. Each lecture, participants will pin up at least three of their pictures and share with other peers. The critique will base on discussion group and each of the works will get the opportunity to be evaluated by class. All of the participants will present their best works in a final presentation.
